Preparations for the much-awaited Second Coming party are at an advanced stage with an exclusive party being organised for fans who want to interact closely with the SA artistes. The Second Coming, a follow up to the Kalawa Homecoming gig will feature artistes Nathi of the Nomvula fame, Bucie, Nomuzi Mabena, Cash Time’s Kid X, Vusinova, Kash and Cal_Vin.
Dubbed VIP Experience, the exclusive meet and greet party will be held on Friday evening at Horizon Night Club ahead of the main concert at Queens Sport Club on Saturday. Starting at 8PM, attendees will be expected to pay $5 to attend the VIP party with the main show pegged at $10 for a standard ticket.
One of the organisers of the event, Possenti “DJ Passe” Sikosana said the South African artistes are expected in Bulawayo on Friday. “We noticed that most times when artistes from outside the country visit, their fans never really get an opportunity to interact with them. This is why we’ve included this VIP party on their itinerary,” DJ Passe said.
“Fans will have an opportunity to take photos with their favourite artistes at the pre-party with Nathi and Vusinova giving away autographed CDs of their albums. “Other artistes will be mixing and mingling with lucky fans winning tickets to the Saturday show.”
However, the artistes will not perform at the pre-party on Friday as their role is to spend quality time with fans. Meanwhile, advance tickets for the Second Coming are selling like hot cake at Chicken Inn outlets and Horizon Night Club. VIP tickets are being sold for $40 while VVIP tickets are going for $150.
Those in VVIP will be given complimentary drinks and have access to mingle with artistes who will also be seated there.
