FANS who want to know the personal life experiences that shaped musician Sanii Makhalima’s music career will be able to do so at Club Eden in Bulawayo this weekend when he launches his 10th album – Man U Script.
Makhalima, who has been laying low as he is studying towards a Masters Degree in Business Administration, said his latest offering would be given to fans for free at the launch tomorrow.
With nearly two decades in the music industry, Makhalima is the voice behind popular tracks such as Usadaro, Ndipe Rudo, and Ndofefeterwa.
Already, Makhalima has been dropping singles off his 10-track album including I Surrender, Unodei feat Andy Muridzo and Wakanditi Hawuchandida feat Trevor Dongo and hip hop musician Takura.
Makhalima, who is expected in Bulawayo tomorrow, said the album was a story of his life.
“Man U Script is based on my personal experiences, narrating how I grew up as well as my interactions with people I love.
“I’m inviting fans to walk down memory lane with me as I release my 10th album,” said Makhalima.
The artiste, who last released an album in 2011, said he had most of his focus on releasing singles, other than an album.
“My fans have been inspiring my music. To date, I’ve 10 albums to my name making this the 11th. So as a way to say thank you to them, I’m giving away 50 albums for free on the day of the launch.”
He said he would also perform yesteryear hits to reminisce about the good old days.
