IF the recently held Club 263 pre-launch party at Hartsfield Tshisa Nyama is anything to go by, then Bulawayo nightlife will never be the same again as more elegance and class has been added. The pre-launch party held last Saturday was graced by socialites who partied the night away in style as they enjoyed free drinks and meat which had been availed for their pleasure.
As if that was not enough, some female patrons were given free perfumes and Brazilian weaves, just for dressing well. The party at which white leather couches had been placed for VIP guests, was a precursor to the club’s launch on Thursday.
Tatenda Gwatidzo, one of the joint’s directors said Club 263 was more of a social movement than a nightclub. “As Club 263, we’re offering a new socialising platform, where one can enjoy drinks in a very relaxed atmosphere. The club will operate seven days a week with affordable food and alcohol on offer,” Gwatidzo said.
The club launches with a three-day party that will see 13 DJs from as far as Botswana and Harare taking to the turntables. — @nhlallo
