Delegates attending the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair in Bulawayo later this month will be spoilt for choice as several shows have been lined up for that period.
South Africa’s Bucie and Nathi as well as Jah Prayzah, Winky D and Tuku are some of the artistes who will liven up the fair which runs from April 26 to 30 under the theme: “Innovate-Integrate-Industrialise”.
First, those who missed the launch of Sam Mtukudzi’s Misiirwa album in Norton will be able to sample the new songs as the late artiste’s father – Oliver – assisted by Gary Tight and Mbeu will launch the album on April 29 at the Large City Hall. Gary Tight will perform renditions of Sam’s songs at the show where Jeys Marabini will also perform.
A day later, Nathi of the Nomvula fame, Bucie, Kid X, Vusi Nova, Tarajika and Bulawayo’s Cal_Vin and DJ Slamma will keep the ball rolling with a show at Queens Sports Club. Tickets which are being sold at Chicken Inn outlets and Horizon Night Club can be bought for $10 standard, $40 VIP and VVIP $150.
On the same night, a stone’s throw away, Jah Prayzah and Winky D will be entertaining patrons at the Amphitheatre. They will be supported by DJ Mimi and Fishtoz where tickets cost $5 at the gate and $10 after 10PM.
